Matthew brings a dynamic blend of blues, soul, and psych-infused grooves to every set. Performing with his distinctive classical guitar style and multi-instrumental talent, his versatile performance creates an uplifting atmosphere that connects instantly with the crowd.

Born in New Zealand, Matthew’s musical journey has taken him from Wellington’s vibrant arts community to Berlin and New York, before settling in Northern NSW in 2013. He quickly became a standout figure in the Byron Bay music scene, performing at Bluesfest, Splendour in the Grass, the Byron Bay Music Festival and Margot Robbie’s wedding. His work with The Swamps helped build a cult following across Byron Bay’s live music, events and wedding scenes.
