The Byron Bay Surf Festival brings the spirit, culture and joys of surfing to the shores of Byron Bay every year since 2010.

Considered one of Australia’s most inclusive surfing events with a program of surfing competitions and surf culture that includes art exhibitions, environmental awareness, sustainability and the growth of women and children in the sport, and live gigs throughout the extended Byron central business district.

The Byron Bay Surf Festival is aptly tag-lined “Surf Culture Now” which encapsulates what its all about and what it means to the local and interstate surf communities.

The Festival has been a vibrant celebration that unites surfers and non-surfers alike through an array of exciting activations over a 4 day weekend.
