Liz Stringer – To Survive tour

Following the successful London launch of her latest album, The Second High, acclaimed Australian songwriter Liz Stringer is heading back to Australia for a huge run of shows starting this October. This significant return isn’t just about the music. It’s branded as the Liz Stringer To Survive tour, reflecting a mission that goes much deeper than the stage.

The ‘To Survive’ Mission

This 17-date tour is more than just an opportunity for Stringer to deliver her latest piano-infused, poignant, and deeply resonant work to her fans. The tour is presented by Select Music, Remote Control Records, and Wombat Housing Support Services. The To Survive tour will simultaneously function as a vital campaign. It will raise awareness about the housing crisis affecting the nation. Furthermore, it will secure much-needed funding for Australia’s most vulnerable people.

Advocacy and Wombat Housing

Ms. Stringer has long advocated for social equity. She started using her public platform to highlight the extreme challenges faced by young and underprivileged individuals. They are experiencing housing instability and sleeping rough. She followed a successful fundraising event for Wombat at Melbourne’s Thornbury Theatre back in late 2021. The national housing crisis has intensified since that time. Consequently, Stringer has dedicated her entire tour to this critical cause.

Tour Dates and Tickets

The Liz Stringer To Survive tour kicks off on October 4th in Brisbane. From there, she’ll proceed through regional centres and capital cities across the continent. Stringer will host intimate shows in locations such as Newcastle and Hobart. The tour will culminate in a major final weekend of performances in Perth and Fremantle in late November. We strongly advise securing tickets promptly due to high demand.

Supporting the Cause

We cannot overstate the vital importance of the Wombat Housing Support Services in this campaign. The organization provides essential aid, emergency accommodation, and direct advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness. Ultimately, this tour presents a crucial opportunity for music patrons to contribute to a genuinely impactful social cause. Attendees of the Liz Stringer To Survive tour can donate any amount they choose to a local community support organization. They can do this easily via QR codes present at each venue. In addition, Ms. Stringer will also personally contribute a donation.
