Also known by many as Oren Selecta, a seasoned producer and DJ with a decade of experience promoting and producing hundreds Reggae and Drum And Bass events in Byron Bay Australia, building a dedicated music community through his event brands: The 4’20’ Sound and Byron DNB, promoting soundsystem culture in the Northern NSW region and performing at festivals and events worldwide, on his record: Boomtown, Rototoms Sunsplash, Reggae Sun Ska, Uprising Festival, Rainbow Serpent, Splendour In The Grass, MUSA Cascais, Island Vibe, Earth Frequency, Raglan Soundsplash and venue shows around EU, UK and the Pacific. The 4’20’ Sound also operates as an independent music label that regularly releases music with numerous collaborations with various artists from around the world such as Dougy, Parly B, Lasai, Rayjah45, SK Simeon and more, as well as releases on other labels such as Evidence Music, Scotch Bonnet Records, Eighty Six Music and DRM NZ.
Known for his multi genre selections, Oren Selecta has been performing under The 4’20’ Sound in a well versatile events, from holding a vibe with his custom built soundsystem playing a wide selection of Reggae Dub and Dancehall all the way to performing a heavy weight DnB sets with his dubplates and vocal cuts blends into modern and classic drum and bass tunes from liquid and Jungle to jump up and rollers, as well as countless of originally produced dubs and edits, as well as holding long hours of late night club shows rinsing
blends of RnB, Hip Hop, House, Techno and Garage.
