Sydney’s six-piece sensation Alive In The 70s brings their spectacular live show, “A Trip Through the 70s,” to the Byron Theatre on Saturday 17 January 2026 for a night of pure nostalgia, infectious grooves, and feel-good fun.
Since forming in 2017, Alive In The 70s has been lighting up stages across the country with their high-energy celebration of one of music’s most iconic eras. The band has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s premier seventies tribute acts, performing to packed venues and ecstatic crowds who can’t resist hitting the dance floor.
Fronted by powerhouse vocal duo Mama Cath and Papa Pan, and backed by a lineup of seasoned musicians, the band recreates the hits that defined a generation. Expect classics from ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Sherbet, The Bee Gees, and more — all delivered with style, authenticity, and irresistible energy.
But Alive In The 70s isn’t just about the music — it’s a full 70s experience. The band takes the stage in authentic vintage fashion, bringing the era’s flamboyant spirit to life. Their ever-evolving multimedia backdrop adds a vibrant visual layer that enhances the nostalgia and immerses audiences in the magic of the decade.
