A Cinematic Concert Experience by the Bowerbird Collective

The award-winning Bowerbird Collective is thrilled to be returning to Byron Bay with their latest project. This phenomenal performance takes you on an epic journey alongside migratory birds. These beautiful creatures connect massive continents and diverse cultures across the globe.

Ditch your standard evening routines and prepare for a truly breathtaking multimedia event. The immersive program draws heavily on art, science, and music from across the ages. Furthermore, spectacular footage and evocative soundscapes set the scene for an unforgettable artistic exploration. Ticket holders will find themselves fully immersed in one of nature’s greatest stories.

Critical Acclaim for a Transfixing Soundscape

This creative team consistently produces works that resonate deeply with arts critics and general audiences alike. They are the creative minds behind the projects Where Song Began and Songs of Disappearance. The latter famously reached the number two spot on the official ARIA Charts.

The industry has showered the group with exceptional reviews:

  • Limelight Magazine: “Spectacular… There isn’t enough space to provide adequate praise.”

  • Sounds Like Sydney: “…a work of art… a transfixing soundscape.”

  • Audience Feedback: “It moved me to tears… I left feeling I had been sung to by the country.”

The project even won the 2022 Independent Arts Foundation Award for Innovation. Consequently, the Bowerbird Collective has established a legacy of pioneering art that directly champions conservation.

Meet the Internationally Renowned Performers

The unique success of the Bowerbird Collective relies on its exceptionally talented founding members. Violinist and vocalist Simone Slattery holds a PhD and is a prestigious Churchill Fellow. Meanwhile, cellist Anthony Albrecht is a graduate of the world-renowned Juilliard School.

These internationally renowned musicians specialize in playing both historical period instruments and modern setups. They originally founded the Bowerbird Collective in 2017 to make transformative art for nature. Therefore, their collaborative vision blends technical brilliance with deep ecological awareness.

Because local music fans snap up tickets quickly, you should secure your entry as early as possible. Please spread the word to your nature-loving friends about this rare tour. Come witness the Bowerbird Collective live and experience the pure magic of the natural world!
