The Terrace at HAVEN Byron Bay: Grand Launch Weekend
The Terrace at HAVEN Byron Bay: Grand Launch Weekend
Something special is blooming in the heart of Byron Bay. What was once the old Woolies car park has been transformed into The Terrace at HAVEN — a lantern-lit garden where music, art, and community come together under the open sky. On Friday, November 14th & Saturday, November 15th, locals and visitors alike are invited to celebrate the official launch with free live music, family fun, and soulful connection over two magical days.
The Terrace at HAVEN isn’t just another venue; it’s a playground for the senses. It’s a place where the creative spirit of Byron can stretch, shine, and create. Therefore, the weekend program hums with warmth, colour, and heart.
Launch Program: From Golden Grooves to Thunderous Beats
The weekend kicks off Friday afternoon for knock-off drinks at 4 PM. Empress Katia welcomes guests with her radiant presence, followed by Chop Suey spinning a sunset vinyl session that sets the perfect golden-hour grooves.
Saturday: The Official Community Celebration
Saturday, November 15th, marks the official launch, beginning with a Welcome to Country at 1 PM — a moment of reverence before the rhythm rises.
- The Byron Taiko drummers shake the earth with thunderous beats.
- Next, The Imprints take the stage, the dynamic duo best known for blending atmospheric soundscapes with emotive and soulful melodies that touch the heart and move the body.
- Throughout the afternoon, the garden fills with life, laughter, and the joyful hum of kids having their faces painted or creating art.
- Finally, it’s time for Castla to take over the decks with some sunset beats on vinyl.
More Than a Venue: A Gift to the Community
The Terrace at HAVEN Byron Bay is a melting pot for artists, families, and creatives to connect, collaborate, and celebrate life. Ultimately, it’s about belonging, inspiration, and the magic that happens when people come together. So come wander in, find your rhythm, and let the music, laughter, and creativity remind you: this is what Byron feels like when it creates.
